Safety first. Baitprint is a fishing forecast, not a safety or navigation tool. It does not know the actual state of the water where you are standing. Never let it override the marine forecast, official warnings, or your own judgement.
These terms are an agreement between you and MATEDRA, obrt za poslovno savjetovanje, edukacije i digitalne usluge, owner Dražen Eldić — a sole proprietorship (obrt) registered in Croatia at Ljudevita Rossia 33A, 47000 Karlovac, OIB 25386701111 ("we", "us"). By using Baitprint you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the service.
Baitprint estimates when fish are more likely to be active, combining solunar theory, weather and tide data, and — once you have logged enough outings — patterns drawn from your own catches and blank trips.
Be clear about what that means: it is a heuristic, not a prediction of fact. Solunar theory is not firmly established science. Weather data comes from third-party models that are sometimes wrong. Your personal score is a statistical estimate from a small sample of your own trips, and the app deliberately tells you when that sample is too small to trust. A high score is not a promise of fish, and a low one is not a reason to stay home.
You are solely responsible for your own safety and for fishing lawfully. In particular:
You may use Baitprint without an account. If you create one, keep access to your email secure, since sign-in links go there. You must be at least 16 years old. Give accurate information, and do not impersonate anyone else.
You can delete your account at any time from within the app, which removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Your log, photos and notes remain yours. We claim no ownership. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service for you — to store your content, display it back to you, and show it to the people you explicitly choose to share it with.
You are responsible for what you upload. Do not upload content you have no right to, content that identifies other people without their agreement, or anything unlawful. We may remove content that breaches these terms or the law.
If you opt a catch in to the anonymised community map, you allow us to include it in aggregate statistics that cannot be traced back to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Do not attempt to breach or probe the security of the service, access other users' data, disrupt it for others, scrape it at scale, resell access to it, or use automated systems to hammer the underlying data providers.
Baitprint has a free tier that does not expire and does not require a card. Baitprint Pro is an optional paid subscription. What each tier includes, and the current price, are set out on the pricing page; at the time of writing Pro is €4.99 per month or €39 per year. Prices are in euro. EU VAT is added at checkout where it applies, at the rate of your country of residence.
Free trial. Pro includes a 14-day free trial. Unusually, the trial does not begin when you sign up — it begins the first time the app shows you a forecast window scored from your own logged outings with enough evidence behind it to carry a confidence rating. This is deliberate: before that point the app cannot demonstrate the thing Pro is for. You will be told in the app when your trial starts and before it ends. If you do not add a payment method, the trial simply ends and your account returns to the free tier; nothing is charged and nothing you logged is removed.
Renewal and cancellation. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You may cancel at any time, from within the app or by emailing us. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not charge a cancellation fee.
Price changes. If we change the price of a plan you are on, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you may cancel before then.
Our Refund Policy sets out in full when and how you get your money back, including your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal as an EU or UK consumer and our own no-questions-asked refund within 14 days of a charge. It forms part of these terms.
Payments are processed by our payment provider, which acts as the merchant of record for the transaction and is the seller for tax purposes. This means your card statement may show their name rather than ours, they issue your invoice and handle VAT, and their terms apply to the payment itself. We never see or store your card details.
We aim to keep Baitprint running but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. It depends on third-party services — weather providers, map tiles, our hosting — that can fail or change without notice. We may modify or discontinue features. If we shut the service down, we will give reasonable notice and an opportunity to export your data.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for wasted trips, missed fish, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Baitprint. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period, which for free users is nothing.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, your mandatory statutory rights are unaffected.
You may stop using Baitprint and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms, and will tell you why unless prevented by law.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Baitprint afterwards means you accept the new version.
These terms are governed by Croatian law. Disputes fall to the courts of Croatia. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your own country and may bring proceedings there.
Language. These terms may be offered in translation for your convenience. Where a translation differs from the English version, the English version governs. This does not affect any right you have under your own country's mandatory consumer law to be given contract terms in your own language.
